Working with Mike and Scott was an easy experience. First off, they were transparent about EVERYTHING! My phone had so many texts from them because they wrote down every detail, from start to finish. They GC'd everything from electric work, to tree cuttings, to the grass and obviously the brick work itself. Their team, led by Mike, Scott and foreman Christian, were exceptional. Genstar recently waterproofed the front porch walls and foundation, as well as the interior garage and boiler room of my mother’s home. Genstar completely gutted my 60+ year old dilapidated yard and rebuilt it. Had several flooding issues due to the grading shifting over those 60+ years. Genstar had already rebuilt my front driveway and walk path, was so pleased with the work I did not hesitate to contact them again. Genstar addressed the issues with a new drywell and drainage systems. Had some heavy rain and my basement was bone dry. Couldn't be happier. After living in our home for years, we made the decision to replace the front stoop, driveway, façade and entire patio. We knew this project would be a significant investment in time and money therefore we began obtaining estimates over a period of 6-12mos. We had a wonderful experience with Genstar putting in our back patio. They were thorough, made great suggestions, and followed through. We couldn’t be happier with our new patio and enjoyed it all summer.
I didn’t think my backyard was capable of being transformed to look half way decent. With Ralph and Mikes designs and Billy and his crews’ incredible work; my yard looks absolutely amazing. I didn’t think it was possible. I could not have went with a better company to do my pavers. Not only the are they the best at what they do but they are honest and compassionate. They went above and beyond in many ways. I’m looking forward to having them come back to add onto the pavers and redo my driveway In addition, I initially hired a company that basically stole money from me AND destroyed my yard. Genstar came in and turned the whole thing around, cleaned up his mess and made my backyard look amazing. They also worked on my neighbors yard and they are beyond satisfied. Thank you Genstar!!

Scott and his team are the best. I called with an emergency water leaking basement on Monday at 8am and he was at my house in 30 minutes and got the work done in a week. Super responsive and Scott had to convince me not to jump into doing extra work. Definitely go to guys for masonry, hardscaping and exterior finishing design.

Mike set us up with Ralph, He came over, gave us a great price, and answered all our questions. He listened to what we wanted and laid out the different options available. Billy came with the crew, and they were on time both days and worked their tails off, even on a Saturday to get the project completed. My wife and I decided to redo our backyard and pool. I was referred to a few companies, but once I met up with Mike and Scott, I knew they were the right guys for the job. They were with us every step of the way. If I had a question, they always were accessible, understanding and responsive throughout the entire process. I am personally not an easy person to impress. Not only did they meet my expectations, they in all honesty exceeded them. Their work wasn’t good, it was phenomenal. Every single paver was meticulously placed so that the look was perfect. They took care of moving my fences, the pool, the lighting and of course the aforementioned pavers. They literally built my perfect oasis. If you aren’t using them, you are most definitively missing out.
The team at Genstar did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them. I had 4 contractors give me quotes and they beat them all and offered better design solutions for challenges with our side stoop and landing. Mike offered great guidance to fit the job in our budget with honest suggestions so we didn't get in over our heads. Vinny designed a great layout to flow with our existing deck and landscaping. The whole crew was very polite, friendly and courteous to my family while they were here. At the end when we reviewed the completed work, they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and Omar came back to put the finishing touches we asked for. I hire alot of contractors and I have had communication problems with most of them. You won't be disappointed working with Genstar. Mike responded the same day to every question, change request or concern we had to make sure we were informed and comfortable. Thank you Genstar for a job well done!
