We recently had a pool installed and worked with Genstar for the masonry. Scott, Mike and the forman, Christian couldn’t be easier to work with! Every person who worked here over the last week/month (because they started the whole job with the pool dig) has been respectful of our property, our home and kept everything clean all while wearing a smile! We live on a hill which had a narrow entry to the yard (also, modified by them!) and there was a ton of manual labor that went into this project and we could not be happier! We are already thinking of what project they can take on for us next year. Highly recommend if you are looking for a company that is true to their word, prompt and pulled no surprises! As a customer, they took me out of the middle and checked in daily, I wouldn’t have picked anyone else! My pictures don’t even do it justice!

Let me start by saying that we were perplexed in the final result we were achieving... Our 1st meeting was with Scott to discuss our goals. Scott threw out some ideas that we should consider. Genstar recently waterproofed the front porch walls and foundation, as well as the interior garage and boiler room of my mother’s home. They did an unbelievably efficient, thorough and professional job that resulted in all areas looking virtually brand new. Scott M. was on site and available at a moment’s notice and tended to every concern and detail that came up - both expected and unexpected. He and his crew, particularly his crew manager, Alex, were patient, thoughtful and kind to my mother and answered and addressed every question she and I had. On top of that, they did an amazing job on the waterproofing, demo and reinstall of the porch, garage and foundation areas at the cost they promised. Working with Mike and Scott was an easy experience. First off, they were transparent about EVERYTHING!  My phone had so many texts from them because they wrote down every detail, from start to finish.  They GC'd everything from electric work, to tree cuttings, to the grass and obviously the brick work itself. Their team, led by Mike, Scott and foreman Christian, were exceptional. They were here on time every day and cleaned up everything on a daily basis.  My neighbors kept coming to me to tell me they wished they had workmen like that for their home jobs.  Mike and Scott were incredibly patient with us as we made changes along the way. They all have above and beyond customer service skills. Mike and Scott were really fun and professional to work with.

We had a bad experience with a previous contractor. Genstar removed all the bad pavers and redid the work. The difference is night and day. The crew was professional, the work top notch. You never know what you're getting when it comes to hiring someone to do work around your house, but with Genstar you don't have to worry! We were nervous at first, but Scott and Mike walked us through the process, answered all our questions, gave us ideas/recommendations, and listened to our concerns. Their showroom is awesome and everything is paved with the different pavers so you can see what it would look like. The guys that came to do the work were hardworking and did everything so well. Christian showed me around when they were close to finishing and because I am very detailed oriented and a perfectionist, I pointed out little things and he would fix it for me with no problem. After they were done, they cleaned up EVERYTHING! They didn't want to leave a trace of dirt behind. They even power washed my front walkway that I have been dying to power wash (I didn't even ask them to) and the backyard is where I got the work done! Everything looks amazing. They got the job done right away. Their prices are fair and for the work they produce, it's worth it! You are in great hands with Scott, Mike, and their guys.

Genstar completely gutted my 60+ year old dilapidated yard and rebuilt it. Had several flooding issues due to the grading shifting over those 60+ years. Genstar had already rebuilt my front driveway and walk path, was so pleased with the work I did not hesitate to contact them again. Genstar addressed the issues with a new drywell and drainage systems. Had some heavy rain and my basement was bone dry. Couldn't be happier.
